How long is my contract valid?
The contract is valid for 12 years from the time when you sign the contract.
Can I use the kitchen?
Yes, all guests are free to use all kitchen equipment.
What do I do when I get seasick?
Seasickness is a very unpleasant “side effect” while travelling, but
it disappears on landing. There are different pills or natural medicine against
seasickness. During the journey it’s recommended to stay outside and observe
the environment. Do not stay in your cabin. In the evening before your departure
you should not drink alcohol.
Is there a mandatory weekly program?
No, the guests can discuss or plan the weekly program together with the skipper,
as it depends especially on wind and weather.
Should we take with us remedies against midges and insects?
No, as the SkyDelMar is directly waterfront, there are neither midges nor insects.
Should we take care for clearing the tables and cleaning the dishes?
No, this is up to the personnel.
Do I need a specific vaccination before the holidays?
No, you do not need a specific vaccination for your holidays on Mallorca.
How can I get along on board?
On your arrival the skipper and the stewardess will give you all useful and practical
information and present you the yacht at your first stay. Furthermore the personnel
are at your disposal all the time.
Is there enough room for 6 people on the yacht?
Yes, the SkyDelMar is an extremely spacious yacht. Within the 70ft class the SkyDelMar
disposes of the biggest saloon and the largest afterdeck. There are several places
full of atmosphere on the ship; the guests do not need to stay in one single room.
One can linger in the saloon, on the afterdeck, the bath platform, the flying
bridge, the sunbathing area or in front of the control station.
What is the most suitable clothing for yacht holidays?
You should not miss in your luggage comfortable T-shirts, shorts, sun-frocks,
long pants and a sweater for the evenings, bathing suits and elegant clothes if
you wish to go out. In spring a light rain jacket is advisable.
